Inhabiting the eternal present 🍃

I thought that being away from home it would be easier to write on this blog, but I've focused more on enjoying the present. Sometimes it's a bit hard for me to let go of the responsibilities I have back home, but I try to remember that, eventually, when I return, it will be time to resume everything I left on pause. The main theme of the Matsuri caravan is community: setting individualism aside and changing the idea of "I" for "We". Although it's something that happens constantly, I find it very beautiful to observe how a global community exists in search of returning to common origins; to the connection between the physical world and the spiritual world. Plants, animals, minerals, the kingdom of fungi, and humans walking towards the same direction, the natural direction of life. I feel deeply moved by all the hospitality that the Japanese people have offered me, and I hope to be able to share it everywhere I go. At this moment I am in Nara prefecture, in a wonderful space full of beautiful people who seek to recover and restore communion with the mountain ⛰️. To you, who are reading this, I want you to know that you can count on me. With affection, Ro 🌞
